Family Portraits Mangawhai
I so enjoy capturing family portraits in Mangawhai including photographing my own girls Mia and Riley! I wanted to do a photoshoot using a macro lens I often leave in my bag for weddings, to see how it would preform in low light and how quick it would preform with moving kids!
While my photography business is based in Auckland, my second home and where I grew up is Mangawhai. Staying in Mangawhai gives me the flexibility to venture around Northland, New Zealand for lifestyle family photo sessions. Be it on your own farm or lifestyle block, at the beach or local park.
My style is a mixture of documentary and organically posed so you get the best of both worlds. During family portrait sessions I tend to feed off the personalities of the children and see what they are about and capture the true them. I also think the key to kids that don’t wish to have their photo taken is make it fast and fun for them.
