Family Portraits Mangawhai
It was so lovely to meet up with fellow Allstar Cheerleading family at MAZ Skate Park to capture their family portraits at Mangawhai Heads. The ethereal undergrowth of the enchanted vines made the perfect backdrop for their family photos. Sadly since this family photoshoot the trees have been pulled down and this beautiful area is no longer.
I enjoy capturing family portraits in the Northland area. While my photography business is based in Auckland, my second home is Mangawhai. Giving me the flexibility to venture around Northland, New Zealand for lifestyle family photo sessions. Be it on your own farm or lifestyle block, at the beach or local park.
My style is a mixture of documentary and organically posed so you get the best of both worlds. During family portrait sessions I tend to feed off the personalities of the children and see what they are about and capture the true them. I also think the key to kids that don’t wish to have their photo taken is make it fast and fun for them.
