Howick Historical Village Elopement
I always get excited when working with the Skinny Love Girls. So especially when Vivre asked me to capture a winter elopement I dropped everything! As a result the pre booked family ski trip was canceled! Nothing could be more perfect than a Howick Historical Village Elopement!
Sarah & Cameron’s wedding was set in the quaint Howick Historical Village chapel. First of all The Skinny Love gals had styled this gem perfectly! Most of all with bespoke winter kiwiana blooms that work harmoniously with the warm tones of the pews.
Laura Giddey was at the helm celebrating her 200th wedding. She guided Sarah & Cameron through an awkwardly, endearing and humbling ceremony. Most noteworthy was purposely planned to be held on their 9th anniversary.
On this quiet winters day we had free rein of the village. With all its nooks and cranny’s it was a photographers dream! Sarah rocked her $150 TradeMe dress, while she was secretly wishing she still had her tracksuit pants on underneath. Capturing these two was effortless and I think we spent more time chatting, laughing and playing with chickens!
