Mangawhai Beach Wedding

Hope you enjoyed looking through Kirsty and Tameka’s Mangawhai beach weding.

I first met Kirsty when photographing at long time family friends Ash’s wedding, so when she approached me to photograph her and Tameka’s wedding I was super excited! Not only that, I would be photographing her friend and makeup artist Tenille’s wedding a month on! So with knowing half the wedding party and being in my hometown Mangawhai Heads was awesome!

To the day. Wow you couldn’t have picked the absolute downfall in the morning with Kirsty and Tameka having to make a last minute call on their ceremony spot. Luckily they stuck to their guns and went ahead with their clifftop ceremony. So after all they got to have their perfect Mangawhai beach wedding. As both girls walked down with their dads the heavens opened up and the sun popped out!
The rest of the day was effortless and I came away from their day so buzzing! Honestly so humbling to see such beautiful souls become ‘wifeys’!

Update: With Kirsty and Tameka being professional football players for New Zealand and Australia their wedding day has gone viral and exciting to see such positive support.
